The Cadets were hous- ed at the Connaught Youth Centre while in Prince George. Cadets stood guard as the motorcade proceeded along 15th Avenue at a rather faster speed than anticipated. On the way back, the Cadets were asked if they had seen the royals. Most of them replied that all they saw were noses in the rear of the car due to speed. Some mentioned seeing a smile or a wave but this did not mar their enthusiasm as they all would do it again. Ruth Tremblay photo Considerations for vacation attire by Elizabeth Evans Terrace Fashion Columnist TERRACE — Summer holidays are approaching and it’s time to begin to think about what you'll be wearing during your vacation. Many of you will most likely be traveling to Van- couver to see Expo 86, so you will need clothes ap- propriate for Vancouver’s changing weather. Whien traveling, it is a good idea to carry a small backpack or tote bag with extras such as sweaters, shorts — and an umbrella! When shopping for summer clothes look for light shirts, as they can be worn layered or alone, depen- ding on current temperatures, For those of you who won’t have access to aniron, it is a good idea to bring clothes in crinkle cotton or cotton polyester blends, as wrinkling won’t be as noticeable. For tops? Choose rayon or cotton polyester blends as they are good for cutting down on wrinkles. For light packing, try to mix and match all your outfits by keeping basic color schemes. Example: brights or pastels, creams or whites, etc. By doing this you can wear almost any shirt or blouse with any skirt or pants. As well as saving space this also gives you a wider variety of possible outfits. Bring along a few accessories as well. Perhaps a bright multicolored scarf with jewelry to match. By using accessories creatively, you can achieve many different looks from the same clothes. Happy Holidays! AL Ay intersections are caused by Fail reroyield
