City of Port Coquitlam Sign By-Law

Dear Sirs:

; Further to your letter of July 12, 1974, the roof sign at the above-~
mentioned address is non-conforming to the Sign By-Law that was passed in 1969.
In order for your sign to remain, an amendment to the Sign By-Law would be
required. I had passed this letter to the Committee that deals with the Sign
By-Laws and it was confirmed that such an amendment would not be considered.

. It is therefore mandatory that the sign be removed as it is past the
deadline set for the removal of non-conforming signs as set out in the By-Law.

Please be advised that the sign located roof of your property described
hereunder is a sign described in clause (a) of Section 202 of the “City of
Port Coquitlam Sign By-law, 1969, No. 936" and is thus in contravention of the
By-law.

You are notified that the sign described above must either be removed or
altered to conform to the provisions of the "City of Port Coquitlam Sign By-iaw,

1969, No. 936" prior to the thirtieth (30th) day of Noventer, 1974.

After the date mentioned in the imnadiately preceding paragraph, it shail
be competent for me to proceed with the enforcement of this Notice.

An Appeal lies to a Judge of the County Court having jurisdiction against
the requirements of this Notice.

Notice of an Appeal as stated in the immediately preceding paragraph shall
ba given The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam within tan days from the
date of this Notice.

The Judge shall hear and finally determine the matter, making such Order
as seems mete to hin..
