TRE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PoRT cox QUE TLAM BY-LAW ONO. 155 A By-law to authorize The Corporation of che City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Inperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District in exchange for WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Imperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, Districr Let 466, Group Oae, New Westainster District in the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; . AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 oF this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands conprising the portion of Tuperial Avenue to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of British Coluabia, 1960, provides that the Council way by By~iaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as nay be necessaty for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re-locating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: i The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel ar tract of land and premises which may be nore particularly described as follows: ALL that portion of Imperial Avenue in District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District shown dedicated on registered plan 2294, included within the green oatline on 4 by-law plan sworn by Walter E. Frith, B.C.L.s. and datei the 8th day of July, 1977, a copy cf which is attached hereto at or for the price or sim cf Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Thirty ($13,330.00) Dollars and in exchange for those certain Parcels or tracts of land deseribed in the next Section hereof. 2. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan is hereby authorized to purchase of and fron the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of lend and premises which tay be rore particularly described @s follows: All that portion of Lot 313, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District as shown on registered plan 50612, included within the red outline on a by-law plan sworn by Walter E. Frith, B.C.L.S. and dated the 8th day of July, 1977, a copy of which is attached hereto; All that portion of Lot 38, Block C, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District as shown oa Tegistered plan 19410, included within the red outline on a by-law plan sworn by Walter E. Frith, B.C.L.S,. and dated the 8th day of July, 1977, a copy of which is attached herete - at or for the price or sum of One ($1.00) Dollar and in exchange for that certain parcel or tract of land described in the preceding Section hereof. 3, °° That portion of Imperial Avenue eatlined in green on the safd Plan of Walter E. Frith, B.C.L.S., is hereby closed and stopped up to traffic of all kinds. . 4 The said lands to be so purchased as aforesaid shall, when so conveyed to the said City, be established as an addition to the roads in District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District. 5. The Mayor and City Clerk of The Corporation of’ the City of Port Coquitlan are hereby authorized to execute such conveyances, deeds, caps, receipts and other documents on behalf of the said City as may be necessary for the purposes aforesaid and to’ affix the Corporate Seal of the City therete. 6.
