In view of my forthcoming annual vacation Mayor Laking has asked that
I suggest that Council give consideration to the following resolution:

"That the appointment of R.A. Freeman, City Clerk, as Acting-City
Administrator and Daputy Treasurer be terminated effective 4:30 p.m.
Friday, June 26th, 1981; ;

THAT for the period extending from 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 26th, 1981
to 3:30 a.m. Monday, July 6th, 1981:

(a) Mr. F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Engineer, be appointed Acting-City
Administrator and Deputy Treasurer; and, .

(b) Mr. J.G. Maitland, Treasurer, be appointed Deputy City Clerk;

THAT Mr. George Sawada's appointment as City Administrator commence at
°8:30 a.m. Monday, July 6th, 1981;

AND THAT Mr. Sawada be appointed, concurrent with his appointment as
City Administrator, Deputy City Clerk and Deputy Treasurer."
