SUBJECT: Senior Citizens Yearly Membership Fees

RECOMMENDATION:

That the non-resident and resident fee for Senior member-—
ship fees be abolished and that one fee only of $4.00. be
instituted for 1982. .

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Attached is a clipping from the Dogwood Pavilion Newsletter
in Coquitlam in regard to a court ruling in 1979.o0n non-
residents. This particular case was in Cranbrook,
Coquitlam has now eliminated their non-resident fee and

it should also be done in Port Coquitlam. We do not have
any differential in fee structure for any of our other
recreation programs.
