CORRESPONDENCE AND PETITIONS: From the Mary Hill Community & Ratepayers Association, October 21st, 1974, advising that that organization will sponsor an All Candidates Meeting on November 6th, 1974 in the Mary Hill Junior Secondary School cafeteria at 7:30 p.m. The letter was received for information. From the Associatien of Concerned Citizens, October 24th, 1974, advising that that organization and the Wrong Side of the Tracks Action Association will jw-sponsor an All-Candidates Meeting at Viscount Alexander School on Thursday, November 7th, 1974 at 7:30 p-m., and that the Assoctation would be very pleased if Council could see fit to advertise the meeting on the Read-o-graph at Wilson Avenue. Alderman Ranger suggested that both meetings be advertised on the Read-o-graph; however, Aiderman Laking pointed out that the Read-o-graph may be booked at that time. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That provided it has not been previously booked, the Read-o~graph be used to advertise the times, dates and places of both the All-Candidates Meetings being sponsored by the Mary Hill Community & Ratepayers Association and the Association of Concerned Citizens-Wrong Side of the Tracks Action Association. REPORTS: From the Health Committee-Environmental Sub Committee, October 25th, 1974, advising that a joint committee comprised of representatives of the District of Coquitlam and City of Port Coquitlam met with Associate Deputy Minister B.E. Marr of the Department of Lands, Forests and Water Resources on Wednesday, October 23rd, 1974 to discuss the Department's ‘ proposal to carry out a water management study of the Coquitlam River, that Mr. Marr expressed the view that the Department would like input from local organizations, for example, the Fish and Game Association, and that he anticipated the study program would probabiy be two years in preparation.
