RESOLUTION:

That the offer to purchase dated June 9th, 1989 made by the British
Columbia Buildings Corporation relating to a Portion of Lot 2, District Lot
463, Group One, New Westminster District, Plan 69169, described therein and ;
offering the sum of $300,000 for the said property be and the same is hereby

accepted;

AND THAT Nis Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to accept the .
said offer on behalf of the City and to affix the Corporate Seal of this City

thereto.

BACKGK:: :ND AND COMMENTS :

A copy of the offer to purchase referred to above follows.

This item was originally scheduled to come before Council on June 26th,
1989 but B.C.B.C. advises that because their Board of Directors is meeting on
that date it will be necessary for the offer to be formally accepted by the
Council before then if the sale is to proceed at this time.

Apparently the B.C.B.C. Board of Directors does not meet again until September.
