A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on April 27th, 1981 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning Public His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking advised the meeting the following Hearing: B/i #1833 ~ proposed By-laws to amend the “City of Port Coquitlam Z2-ning By-law, 1819 & 1830 Morgan Ave. 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: (RS-2 to RS=-1) By-law No. 1833: To rezone Lots 15, 16, and 17, Blocks 13 and 14, District Lot 255, Group One, Plan 2045, New Westminster District, from RS-2 to RS-1. This property is located at 1819 and 1831 Morgan Avenue and the Property is being rezoned to permit its re-subdivision into two lots that will be used as the sites for single family dwellings. No one was present to comment on the proposed rezoning. The Public Hearing adjourned at 7:35 p.m, CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Minutes: Apr. 6 & 13th/81 Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held on April 6th, 1981 and April 13th, 1981 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATIONS: Delegations: Mr. R. Lajoie His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking introduced Mr. Bob Lajoie, Area Area Govoeds Prov. Emerg. Co-ordinator, Provincial Emergency Program who then gave an explanation Program. 8 of the basic emergency plan and answered the Council's questions regarding the emergency plan.
