Item V + Continued. Recommendation: The Committee recommends that the Council take no action in this pro~ posed road closure subdivision until firm plans on land use in that area are known. “Item VI Re: Inclusion of the Industrial Zones ~ Parking =~ Off Street Loading Sections in the Zoning Bv-lew. SEPARATELY Attached fare sone proposed revisions to the Zoning By~law dealing with the Industrial Zones, Parking and Off-Street Loading Sections. The Committee recon- mends approval of the changes as attached. Item VIT Re: Perth Road Opening. A request to open Perth Road for 33 foot lots housing has been requested. As shown on the map Perth creates a double frontage situation and would present an undesirable development. Attached is a memo from the Engineer on this matter. Committee Comnents: The Committee reviewed the proposed opening and feel the double frontage lot situation that would be created is undesirable. It was felt that consolidation and resubdivision of the area would evolve a more pleasing devel- opment. A brief discussion on the possibilities of development where a small gruup of townhouses may fit was felt to be a worthy suggestion. Recommendation: The Committee recommends that the road opening of Perth not be permitted and that discussions with the Land Sales Committee and the Planning & Zoning Committee be held to ascertain the possibility of resubdivision or development area concept.
