RECOMMENDATION:

That City Council endorse a rasolution to.issue a Davelopment Permit for
Lot 10, D.L. 464 Plan 2240 relaxing the requirements of Section 28,
Subsection (4) of the. Zoning Bylaw 1651, sideyards from 1.8 metras to

1.2 metres.

COMMENTS :

The property in question is a 10 metre (33 foot) wide lot which is zoned
RM~1, Multiple Family. The RM-1 Zoning District requires 1.8 metre (6
foot) sideyards be provided. As the lot is quite narrow this requirement

is a hardship.
This proposed reduction of sideyards will not establish a precedent, as

there are other lots with similar sideyard setbacks. The sideyard setback
being requested 1.2 metres, is the same as required by the RS-1 Single

Family Zoning District.
