Attention: Mayor Traboulay Dear Sir; This letter is long overdue to your office and I have deliberately held off writing it until I could be more civilized about it. Sir, I would like to move you and your family into my strata apartment for a duration of more than tnree montns and you would more than likely be more conscientious about what happens in your city. Between the rental complexes in our neighbourhood and the strata complexes along with the few Single family dwellings left_WE DESERVE BETTER TREATMENT FOR OUR TAX DOLLARS. I am tired of complaining to the R.C.M.P. and getting told they do not have enough manpower to assist us and being told how City Hall will not authorize more officers for Port Coquitlam. I have complained to City Hall before about the problems and have been told “due to the lack of funds---". Now, If you have money to tear apart City Hall and build what looks to be a brick wall of China around it you have money to do some cleaning up in our neighbourhood. And before you tell me to sell and move if I don't Like it I would like to tell you I have lived in the same block for 18 years and have my place up for sale now because of all the problems and CAN'T SELL IT BECAUSE OF THE LOCALITY AND THE PROBLEMS. First of all there is an arsonist loose in the area. This person. burned up all our garbage and the fence a month ago. On June 3rd this person set fire to the large garbage container behind Frisco's and burned up the jeep parked in our neighbour's yard. When I went to the R.C.M.P. to see what was being done about this preblem I get the "we can't be everywhere with the few men we have but we will file a complaint with the arson squad routine". I doubt that anything will be done. [f asked to have the R.C.M.P. go tnru our lane etc. a few times a night on the weekends and we are back to the "Lack of manpower" reasoning. I sympathize with the police force. TRey can't be everywhere at the same time trying to handle barking dog complaints, loud parties and murders all in the same split second. Please do something about this problem! ! -— continued -- Lz Wr
