Mirror Ball: This piece of equipment $1,500
“would ennance the various program é@reas.

Public skating and teen dances would be

the two areas that would benefit the

most. It would be usec to attract more

people to these events. The mirror ball

was used at the end of the opening

ceremonies in May Day this year.

Patio Chairs & Tables: These would be
purchased for the arena loboy by the
concession. It would be used to enhance
the eating area and be in keeping with the
upgrading of this area, Many arenas are
now uSing this concept. It will hopefully
enhance our concession revenues in that it
provides a nice area to sit and eat;
rather than the benches which the people
have to sit on now.

Lions Park Washroom Renovations: This
washroom facility is badly in need of
repair. It presently is dark anc dank.
The intent would be to modernize the
facility. The renovations would be
appropriate in that the whole park has
been redeveloped.

Dehumidifier ~ Arena No. 2: Needs to be $9,000
replaced. It is presently burned out and

the ice is presently burned out and the

ice surface does get lumpy cue to the

water drippings from the ceilings.

Spare Sewer Pump - Hyde Creek: Presently $4,090
we have only one pump and it requires

servicing once a year. It is necessary to

have a spare one to keep the system

operating; when we service the main sewer

pump. Due to the shortness of the shut

Gown this year, the spare pump is

essential in case of problems with the

main sewer cump.
