PROPOSAL

A TEEN CENTRE FOR THE TRI-CITIES AREA

MISSION

To provide or assist in the provision of safe recreational environments for teens within
each of the following communities: Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and

Belcarra.

OBJECTIVES
to serve the teens of the Tri-Cities Area
to provide a safe social meeting place for teens

to provide the opportunity for both structured and unstructured
programmes with significant teen input

to provide lifeskill training opportunities
to provide a community base for teen-oriented professionals

providing social, health, employmer’ 2nd recreational services

RULES AND REC =, TIONS

The rules and regulations of the teen centres will include:

admission restricted to members or those signed in by a member
possession or use of drugs or alcohol is not aliowed in or around the centre
no fighting, violence or intimidating behaviour

no smoking indoors (a covered outdoor area will be designated)

respect staff, volunteers, peers and facilities and be _—_- in a safe and responsible
manner

have fun and get involved
