His Worship the Mayor and Alderman Mabbett, who had been absent from last week's Council meeting, indicated that they were in favour of the Public Works Committee's recommendations. Campbell, January 29th, 1975, referring to the Board meeting of the Greater Vancouver Regional Pustrict held on January 29th, 1975, and advising, for information, with vtespect to matters concerning the proposed Greater Vancouver Regional District building, the Hospital Advisory Board, and the Joint Sewer and Water Committee. From Alderman E.W. Mabbett, December 30th, 1974, suggesting that, as a trial, speed bumps be installed in the lane on the West side of Shaughnessy Street between Whyte Avenue and Elgin Avenue as a serious situation presented itself in that location and the traffic needed to be slowed down.
