GENERAL REMARKS: CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

The performance ef the animal control facility in Port Coquitlam
during the month of August was most ereditable.

Impoundments and complaints were in line with previous months.
Additional patrols have been carried out during the month
within the jurisdiction of Port Coquitlam.

The Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic was officially opened on
the 7th of August with operations commencing on the 9th of
August. The number of neuterings during the month was nearly
400. This figure will be progressively increased during the
month of September to 800.

A definitive report in respect to the actions of the Low Cost
Spay and Neuter Clinie will be forwarded to the Council at

the end of 1976.
