SUBJECT: Final Release Document - Port Coquitlam vs Brooks
(Public Works Committee Meeting Dec 12, 1989)

Recommendation:

That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the attached
Release Document which forms part of the final settlement in the Action against
the Brooks.

Background and Comments:

Council members have been previously briefed on the results of the Action
against the Brooks arising from their development on Kingsway Avenue. The
attached letter from the City's Solicitor, Mr. Grant Anderson, provides the
reason for the foregoing recommendation.
