BY-LAWS:

Moved by Alderman Laking:

Seconded by Alderman Mabbett:

That the third reading of By-law No. 1680 as given on the Ninth day

of July, 1979 be repealed;
THAT Schedule "A" of the said By~law No. 1680 be amended;

(a) In Section 1 by repealing the figures "$550" where it

twice appears therein and substituting, in each case,

figures "$497";
In Section 2 by repealing the figures "$385" where it

twice appears therein and substituting, in each case,

the figure "$348";

In Section 3 by repealing the figures "$825" where it
appears therein and substituting, the figure "$745";

In Section 4 by repealing the figures "$3630" where it
twice appears therein and substituting, in each case, the

figure "$3280";

_AND THAT the said By-law No. 1680, as amended, be read a third

time.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay

asked for clarification of the proposed changes in the By-law. The City

Engineer gave en explanation of the proposed amendment. Discussion

ensued.

Alderman Laking asked to be excused from the meeting as the next

item on the agenda concerned the proposed development involving property

owned by him.

At 8:07 p.m. Alderman Laking left the Council Chamber.

That final reading of By-law No. 1692 be deferred.

At 8:08 p.m. Alderman Laking returned to the Council Chamber and
