Re: Application for a Permit Under the Pollution Control Act, 1967 (Effluent)

Attached are copies of this application which are self-explanatory.
The site has been visited by the City Engineer and discussions held with Esco
Limited personnel. The Committee recommends that the attached letter over the
signature of the City Clerk be sent to the Director of the Pollution Control
Branch,

Attached is a copy of an advertisement from the July 19th, 1973
issue of the Coquitlam Herald. The City Engineer engaped the services of
Dr. M. Stewart of Associated Engineering Services Ltd. to assist in evaluating
this application. Discussions have been held with the Manager of the Macro Plant.
The Committee recommends that the attached letter over the signature of the
City Clerk be sent to the Director of the Pollution Control Branch.
