Provincial Council of Carpen- ters, addresses demonstration out- side Industrial Relations Commis- sion offices in Vancouver. Building Trades unions have hit IRC deci- sion to allow BCE Development, a major bidder for the sale of the publicly-owned Expo 86 site, to deunionize. Snell, noting the ruling means that it’s no longer just small developers going the non-union route, said the trades continue to support the boycott of the IRC. A special exemption allows the Build- ing Trades to appeal the ruling. RG.
