I attach a copy of a letter sent by the Municipal
Clerk to the Department of Lands after Council consideration
of the subject. At the last meeting of the Committee, it
was requested that this letter be sent to all members for
their information. I also enclose a cepy of my report to
Council on the subject.

I note further that the Greater Vancouver Regional
District Technical Planning Committee has asked its working

committee, chaired by Ron Mann, to review this subject from .
@ regional planning viewpoint.
