He fought a long battle with C.O.PD. & cancer that weakened his bady but strengihaned his Soul & Spirit, He is survived by his Loving wife Marjarie, Three Children: Daughter, Maureen [David], Son, Raymond [Nan], & Daughter Lauise [Brian]. He also left behind 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 sisters’ & many, many, Friends. Dad, You always made us Laugh. Eila was born in Finland and came to live in Canada when she was three months old, Eila was a school: teachar, Storting with teaching in one room schoolhcuses in Narthern Ontario, she then took her Masters in English al Queens and moved to B.C. with her late husband Emie and son Allan. Eila was a high school teacher in Victoria for several years and then moved to Northern B.C, where she.taught in Hazelton and -Terrace. Taking early retirement, she then had time to do the things she enjoyed most - the outdoor aclivities that the North offers and particularly, travel to places such as the Far East and the Mediterranean, Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff and valun- teers at Gorge Read Hospital AECU who cared for Eila during the last wo years of her life, There will be no service in Victoria. A memorial serv: ice will be held this summer in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Donations to the provincial Heart & Stroke Foundation would be most appreciated.
