Sousa-re- From Mr. John Sousa, Batty's Shoe Clinic, requesting permission to ‘location of sign~ Batty's Shoe move the existing sign, which has been in place at 2670 Shaughnessy Street Clinic for over 30 years, to the new location of the business premises across the street. A discussion ensued, and Alderman Mabbett advised it is the intention of the Public Works Committee to review the Sign By-law, as it appears to be too restrictive in certain areas, and although it was noted that re-location of the Sign for Batty's Shoe Clinic would be in contravention of the By-law, the Council generally agreed that such relocation should be permitted.
