March 31st, 1980 /5. Mayor Laking advised that he has received an inquiry from the May Day Committee concerning the possibility of the Aldermen riding horses in the May Day Parade and the general consensus was that horses should not be ridden. Mayor Laking advised that he was continuing investigation of the gravel operations in the Coquitlam River and Alderman Traboulay agreed that the proposed meeting between the Council and the Gravel Operators could be arranged by the Mayor at some appropriate time.
