THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MEMORANDUM TO: B. Kirk March 13, City Administrator FROM: F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Engineer SUBJECT: Servicing for 2191 Prairie Avenue ~ Church Site Recommendation: That the servicing requirements for the above site include the dedication of a 3 meter by 3 meter corner cut off for road as well as the usual engineering servicing requirements which tInclude the extension of a storm sewer, widening of Shaughnessy Street, construction of a curb and sidewalk on Shaughnessy Street... Background and Comments: At the Council meeting of March 3rd, 1986 the Public Works Committee was directed to report to Council on the need for road dedication from this property. It is my Intention to require the same conditions for the Church as ! would have for the subdivision of the property. These conditions Include the dedication of a triangular corner at Shaughnessy and Prairie to accommodate the construction of a sidewalk. Other than that there Is no requirement for dedication of any road allowance. 1 have discussed this corner cut off with the City Planner who agrees t..at it will not affect the proposed development on the property. The other servicing requirements are a necessary part of any development on the site. F.E. Peters City Engineer FEP/kIn
