BY-LAW NO. 1842 1984

A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated in Block 4,
District Lot 480, Croup One, Plan 20844, New Westminster District in
exchange for sufficient land to re-locate the said road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is
desirous of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated in Block 4 of
District Lot 480, Group One, Plan 20844, New Westminster District in
the City of Port Coquitlam in the Provinee of British Columbia;

. AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section
2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said Land to the City in exchange
for the lands comprising the portion of Road shown dedicated in Block 4,
of District Lot 480, Group One, Plan 20844, New Westminster, to be cancelled;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised
Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Couneil may by By-law
dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be
necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re-locating
or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized

to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of

this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and

premises which may be more particularly described as follows:
All those portions of Road in Block 4, District Lot 480,
Group 1, New Westminster District shown dedicated on
Plan 20844 containing areas of 760m" and 33m”, each shown
hatched on a Reference Plan certified by Robert M. Reese,
B.C.L.S. and dated the 14th day of May 1981, a copy of
which is attached hereto

at or for the price or sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and in exchange for

those certain Parcels or tracts of land deseribed in the nexe Section

hereof.
