Strata Title Application

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Clerk's Office and Mayor be authorised to endorse the
Strata Title subdivision of Lot 95, Block E, DL 342, Grp 1,
NWLD Plan 19290.

COMMENTS:

This Strata Title application is submitted to strata title a
new duplex being converted from a single family residence,

Normally, for new duplex buildings the City's approval is not
required. In this case, however, the owner is occupying what
is to be a future half of the duplex. Consequently, the
City's approval is required. lf is recommended this
application be approved. The basis for this recommendation is
that it will promote the two units both being owner occupied.

This aspect of the dup!ex, was a comment raised by several of
the neighbours attending the public hearing to rezone this
property.
