The six properties immediately to the east of the subject property are alao under a Rezoning Application for a 78 walt apartment building. During the Public Hearing for that application, neighbourhood residents were concerned about the number of additional vehicles that would be using the lane for access to new development. As a result of the public input, the developer of that project agreed to landscape the lane right-of-way and alter the building design so that access to the underground parking garage would be located from Welcher Avenue. In order to maintain conaiatency with tha neighbouring project, the developer of this subject application will also be required to landscape the lane right-of-w iy behind the r verty for pedestrian end emergency vehicle access only.
