A Bylaw to Amend the "Port Coquitlam Building
and Plumbing Bylaw, 1992, No. 2735".

The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting
assembled, enacts as follows:

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Port Coquitlam Building and Plumbing
Bylaw, 1992, No. 2735, Amendment Bylaw, 1994, No. 2913".

Section 1 of the "Port Coquitlam Building and Plumbing Bylaw, 1992, No. 2735" is
amended by adding in the correct alphabetical order, the following definition:

“On-site Services” means all pipes, conduits, fixtures and appurtenances located below :
ground which carry water, sanitary sewer or storm drain within the boundaries of a parcel
but outside a building, which carry water to or from a building to City service connections".

Section 6.4 of the Bylaw is amended by adding the following as Section 6.4 and
renumbering the current 6.4 to 6.9 as 6.5 to 6.10:

"6.4 An application for a plumbing permit for on-site services shall be in the form
attached as Schedule M to this Bylaw."

Section 15 of the Bylaw is amended by numbering the current section as 15.1 and adding
the following as Section 15.2:

"15.2 An application for an Equivalent under the BC Building Code shall be in the fom
attached as Schedule L to this Bylaw."

Section 17.1 of the Bylaw is amended by replacing the amount of $5,000.00 with the
amount $10,000.00.

Section 19.1 of the Bylaw is repealed and the following substituted therefore:
"19.1 Schedules A through M attached to this Bylaw form a part of this Bylaw."

Schedules A through K of the Bylaw are repealed and Schedules A through M forming part
of this Bylaw are substituted therefore.

Read a first time by the Municipal Council this 27th day of June, 1994.

Read a second time by the Municipal Council this 27th day of June, 1994.

Read a third time by the Municipal Council this 27th day of June, 1994,

Reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of ‘The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam this day of , 1994.
