Any renovation that becomes a permanent fixture of the
concession area will remain intact and not be taken out
should the P.C.A.A.A. cease to operate the concession.

ITEM NO. 2 ‘Fire Ladder Wagon

The Leisure Activities Committee has again discussed the question
of the above vehicle for park use. The Committee wishes to point
out that such vehicles are presently used in park areas in the
Lower Mainland; the "fire truck" that is in Moody Park in New
Westminster has been there for one and a half years. The Parks
Superintendent from New Westminster inidcated that the fire truck
is one o. the most popular pieces of equipment.

Recommendation

That the Fire Ladder Wagon be retained for park use and that th
engine be taken out and auctioned off. Furthermore, that all
breakable fixtures on the vehicle be secured in such a manner that
the vehicle will be safe for children to play on.
