The Movement to End National Disunity (M.E.N.D.) was
formed recently in Guesnel te encourags? Canadian
unity. Momentum is quickly puiiding in an ali-out |
effort to create an awareness, understanding and)
appreciation for the positive aspects of Canada's
cultural, historical and linguistic differences. -

Already M.E-:N.D. has sponsored the gathering of

signatures. on messages of support to be sent to the

citizens of Quebec and a teleforum involving students —
from a representative elementary school in each of

the twelve provinces ana territories. Long-texm

goals include the encouragement of

twinning relationships between individua

and organizations acrese Canada.
