Pullins was a member of the first and original Trotters team, organized in 1929 by the late Abe Saperstein. Abe had just five players and Pullins was the star scorer along with Inman Jackson, both considered hy Abe as two of his greatest players in the long history of that world famous combine. When you look at the calendar, that’s only 97 days away. To the Committee who is "responsible for finding beds for all these people, the Games mean housing. Billeting Chairman Frank Haubrick and his assistant, Anne .Nunweller, must arrange accommodation for all who arfive. To date, Frank has 800 of the 1200 students billeted in Smithers homes, The Games, mean Tules, regulations, sport- organization for Events Chairman Don Edgecumbe and his assistant, Ken Stam, plus the eighteen sports chairpeople. It also means a very lightly run organization to get results to the Results Centre. To Transportation Chairman and his assistant, Shirley Swift, they mean planning regular bus routes ‘to take athletes from event to event; they also mean transportation must be arranged for all the guest and officials who are to arrive, To Control Centre Chairman Jane Aldous and her assistant, Cathy Hall, the Games mean an efficient ‘organization to ensure that all records are kept available, and all results are tabulated and then passed on to the Media Centre.
