Dear Sir:
Proposed purchase of properties:
1820 Kingsway Avenue, and Lot 52
(formerly 1789) MacLean, Port
Cocuitlam, B.C. :

Further to our telephone discussions, we hereby make
application for formal approval of our proposed use and
occupation of the above properties, We have entered into
interim agreements for the purchase of these properties
and the completion of the purchases is contingent upon
receipt of formal approval by the Gity of Port Coquitlam,

We are proposing to move our entire operation from Maple
Ridge into the Port Coquitlam location. The MacLean Avenue
property would be used as a truck compound, while the Kings-
way property would be used for administrative offices,
Community Programming studio operations, material stores,
and repair centre.

We feel that while our operation is perhaps best categorized
as a "service" operation, the location of the subject
properties would be very appropriate. We employ approximately
forty-five people, all of whom-drive to and from work, and

for whom we must have adequate parking. In addition, we

utilize approximately twenty trucks, As a result, we wisk

to locate in an area which provides good access and traffic
flow. These properties provide such gualities in an area
where we would not contribute to traffic congestion problems.

As the purchases are to be completed on December 8th, 1978,
and December llth, 1978 respectively, we would appreciate
having this application dealt with by your Council at the
earliest possible date. You have kindly arranged for

this to be on the agenda for the Council Meeting to be held
on Monday, November 27th, 1978. The writer will atrend

the meeting and would be pleased to answer any questions
that the Council members way have.
