April 21st, 1972 Theatre Cultural Complex Mr. Gowans, Principal of Port Coquitlam Secondary School addressed the Committee outlining the need for continuing education and Stating that the night school classes will have served nearly 3,000 persons this year. He advised that the paving of a parking lot has just been completed and there is room for 200 cars. He requested the City's co-operation regarding the building of a theatre on the school grounds and stated that Mr. Harrington has done such a good job with the school drama, a prover facility is a necessity. They handled about 5,000 people at the last gduceion, *taciiity of this kind has so many other uses by other groups, sucas the Music: Festival, Poco Little Theatre, etc. .
