A request has been received for a sidewalk to be constructed on Pooley Avenue between Eastern Drive and Pitt River Road. It has been pointed out that there is very little possibility of funds being approved from General Revenue and that construction as a Local Improvement Project is a better possibility. Several years ago a similar request was received and at that time the Public Works Committee felt that a concrete sidewalk would be too steep to be safe and a stairway and sidewalk would be too expensive to consider. The present Committee concurs. The Committee recommends that a gravel and limestone path be constructed with funds from the Boulevard Maintenance Account. i ae : va eunee ene won. bending Se reer cue ome —_ EET 1sn2i-86 DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS 309 - 6th Street, New Westorinster, BD.
