Extension of Shaughnessy Street - funded by the City: Shaughnessy Street will be

extended beyond Stafford Avenue to provide a direct link between the Downtown
and the Mary Hill Bypass.

The Shaughnessy/Lougheed Highway Intersection - to be constructed by Intrawest
in conjunction with development of its commercial property on the southwest

comer. The improvements will inciude road widening, additional left turn lanes and
additional traffic signals.

The Ottawa/Lougheed Highway intersection - to be constructed by PCI in
conjunction with development of its commercial and industrial properties in the

Dominion Triangle. The project will create a signal-controlled intersection and
provide direct access to Riverwood and the Dominion Triangle.

The 1994/95 Public Works Capital Projects - the attached Figures 7 and 8 are

complete lists of the public works projects proposed to be funded and constructed in
1994 and 1995. and their estimated costs.

Medium Term Projects (Within 20 Years)

The following projects are identified as a medium-term priority, with details of
implementation yet to be determined:

Commuter Rail

The Fremont Connector

The Oxford Overpass

The David-Pathan Connector (in Coquitlam)
A Public Parkade in the Downtown

Long-Term Projects (Beyond 20 Years)

The following long-term projects reflect ongoing initiatives by the City and major
projects to be undertaken by the Province:

New Provincial highway facilities (e.g. new bridge over the Pitt River)
Completion of Fremont Street to link with the David-Pathan Connector
Renewal or replacement of existing major roads and bridges
