RECOMMENDATION
That Council pass the following resolution:
"Be it resolved that:

1. ‘The Council of the City of Port Coquitlam considera the residents to
be in favour of the licence being granted."

The Council's views on the proposed location are as followa:

a) Although the Golden Ears Hotel has a similar facility nearby,
this site is at the edge of the Downtown and not located on the
game street}

b) As this site is close to high-density residential areas, there
is tremendous potential for pedestrian access}

c) As this site is adjacent to a municipal parking lot and there is
ample on-street parking in the vicinity, it is anticipated that
parking will not be a major concern;

d) Since the site is a corner property and the building is not
immediately adjacent to residential development, noise is not
anticipated to be a problem with this proposal;

The applicant has an excellent record of service to the
community and has operated a well-managed and respected business
that is a pride of the City."
