Details of Proposed Projects

Reeve Street Tree Planting

When Reeve Street was constructed, there was no budget included for tree planting. The ee
median was just to be grassed, In the original concept for Reeve Street Park , the street en
was to include a canopy of trees on the median and on the boulevards. The Parks and

Recreation Committee are recommending that 36 maple trees be planted on the grass

inedian from Pitt River Road to Wilson Avenue. The cost to purchase and plant these

trees is $21,600,

Soccer Goal Posts

The new grass field at Citadel Middle School requires goal posts. The cost for a set of
aluminum goal posts is $2, 100.

Bleachers

Each year, we endeavor to add to the inventory of aluminum bleachers for the various
athletic parks. $10,000 will purchase four sets of bleachers.

The ice cube maker is broken and not in use. There is a need to replace the ice cube
maker in order that ice can be put in the soft drinks. The replacement cost is $4,500.

Wilson Centre Sterage Cupboard

This storage cupboard would store the carpet bowling equirment. Currently, the
equipment is stored along the edge of the large room in the Wilson Centre. The cost for
this storage cupboard is $1,200.

There are sufficient finds in the
Capital Budget.
