From the Leisure Activities Committee, September 13th, 1978 advising Sept. 13/78 re Soccer of the construction problems of the soccer field and baseball diamond at ‘lField & Baseball — Morgan and Brown and recommending a design change in order to make the -}Diamond —- ; ‘(Morgan & ~ field usable for a longer part of the season at a total additional cost - Brown. of $44,000.00. The Committee recommends that this additional development of the park be approved and that the funds be taken from the Parks Development Reserve. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Leisure Activities Committee, September 13th, 1978 the design of the field at Morgan Avenue and Brown Street be changed in order to make it useble for a longer part of the season and that this additional development of the park be approved at a total additional cost cf $44,000; AND THAT the funds be taken from the Parks Development Reserve.
