That the firm of Key Engineering Limited be appointed to do the construction for the Wilson Centre Phase I expan- Sion. 2. That the upset fee for the project be $548,000. Background & Comments: Cornerstone Architects have completed the tendering process for the Phase I expansion of the Wilson Centre expansion. As you will note from the attached letter, Key Engineering is the low bidder with a bid of $499,000. You will also note that they did the expansion for Dogwood Manor in Coquitlam. A start date of March 2nd, 1987, is anticipated. The City will be provid- ing a 10% contingency fund which will be added to the $499,000 for a total of $548,000. The contingency fund is there in case the City wishes to make any changes in the project. The archi- tect recommended that the contingency fund come from the City- and not the contractor.
