Conference City Engineer has requested authority to send Mr. George Ulmer, Works & Utilities Superintendent, to the Annual Public Works Association Conference in Nanaimo, September 22nd to 24th, inclusive, and stating that Mr. Ulmer has attended this Conference in the past as representative of the City. Carried. ‘City Adm. re From the City Administrator, August 27th, 1976, submitting a letter ‘Parks Patrol-RCMP Aux.Members from Inspector Young of the R.C.M.P. setting out a possible arrangement with the R.C.M.P. Auxiliary Members to carry out a Parks Patrol for the City, and advising that there is an amount of approximately $1,400.00 unallocated in the Protective Services Account of which Council may wish to allocate $1,000.00 or similar amount to provide a patrol between now and the end of the year. Auxiliary Members to carry out a Parks Patrol for the City until the end of the year, with the sum of $1,000.00 or similar amount being allocated therefore from the Protective Services Account.
