PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the First Canadian "PARTICIPARK" will be off~
icially opened in Port Coquitlam on April 1, 1977; and

WHEREAS it is our responsibility to promote physical
fitness and to help in the well being of all Canadians; and

WHEREAS the Port Coquitlam Kinsmen feel that each citi-
zen would welcome the opportunity to take part in the official dedi-

cation of the opening of the "PARTICIPARK"; and
WHEREAS A day designated PARTICIPARK DAY would allow

the Kinsmen of Port Coquitlam and the City to show Canadians all across

our country the efforts being made to keep our citizens physically fit;

and.

NOW, THEREFORE, I Jack Campbell, Mayor of the City of
Port Coquitlam do hereby proclaim April lst, 1977 "PARTICIPARK. DAY"
and urge all people of Port Coquitlam to attend the official opening

and demonstrate justifiable pride iu Canada's First “PARTICIPARK".
