AMENDMENT TO THE REAL ESTATE ACT City of North Vancouver

WHEREAS it is possible for an unwary and imprudent property
buyer to purchase a house based sclely on its description °

without any clarification as to the designation of. permitted or

phe

authorized uses;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the U.B.C.M. urge the Minister of
Consumer and Corporate Affairs to enact legislation to make it

mandatory upon realtors and real estate listing services to

provide, along with the property and building description, a

statement relative to the legal conformity of the use of the

Property.
