Submission of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning; Submission of a landscape and open space plan to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department; Solution of the concerns expressed by the Municipal Engineer; 4. Issuance of a Development Permit; and 5. The building to be fuily sprinklered. further recommended that: 1. The Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit 59/903; and 2. Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Development Permit subject to successful completion of Rezoning Application 58/90. BACKGROUND : The subject site is located within the Downtown Development Permit Area designated by the Official Community Plan. There is a small parking lot (zoned C-4) immediately west of the site and a duplex building to the east. Directly to the north (rear) is a new three storey plus basement apartment building. Older single family dwellings are across the street (to the south) from the subject site. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposal is for a 21 unit apartment building in three storeys plus a basement. Two of the units on the third floor would have an additional loft storey. PAGE
