Re: '"'McLeod'' Lane Closure

Attached to this memorandum js a photocopy of a letter we have received from the
Department of Municipal Affairs deted August 2th, 1973 and also a small section of City
map showing the location of the road closure,

You: will note that the Department of Municipal Affairs inquires as to the Council's

intention once title to the property forming the closed road has been vested in the name
of the City and if the closed road is to be conveyed what compensation will be received

by the City.

In reviewing the various Committee reports and recommendations we find that this .

has never been definitely stated by the Council and we would request the Council's

instructions please.
