A regular meeting of the Municipal Council! of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, March 30th, 1987, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, Jed.
Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer
FeE. Peters, City Treasurer J.G. Maitland, Deputy City Engineer/
Operations Manager T.M. Chong, Director of Community Planning W. Brown,
and Secretary S. Rauh.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES:

Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the minutes of the Reguiar Council Meeting held on March 16th,
1987, and the minutes from the Special Council Meeting of March 24rd,

1987, be taken as read and adopted.
Carried.

AUDIT REPORT:

Moved by Alderman Stewart:

Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That the Financial Statement for the year ended December 31st, 1986,

be received.
Carried.

DELEGATIONS:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Bob Sutter, President
of the Port Coquitlam Triple A and Civic Awards were presented to members
of the the Marlin Swim Team.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. Jackie Pattinson who
who spoke of the benefit of Canus Garbage Containers, presented a 300
name petition to Council and asked that it be reconsidered.

Seconded by Aiderman Laking:

That the matter of Canus Garbage Containers be referred to the Public
Works Committee for further consideration. . .
