July llth, 1977 Prior to By-law No. 1549 receiving first three readings, Alderman Mabbett advised that one of the newspapers had incorrectly stated that the height of pool fences was being increased to 5', rather than 6', and Alderman Laking pointed out that the 6! height would be applicable only to new fences. Alderman Thompson introduced a By-law to amend the "Traffic Regulation By-law, 1971, No. 1117". Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That. By-law No. 1550 be read a first time.
