Prior to By-law No. 1549 receiving first three readings, Alderman

Mabbett advised that one of the newspapers had incorrectly stated that

the height of pool fences was being increased to 5', rather than 6', and

Alderman Laking pointed out that the 6! height would be applicable only
to new fences.

Alderman Thompson introduced a By-law to amend the "Traffic Regulation
By-law, 1971, No. 1117".

It was then generally agreed that By-law No. 1551, proposed to
authorize the exchange of land for a portion of Imperial Avenue, that
was submitted as a late item, be given initial consideration at this
time.

Alderman Laking introduced a By-law to authorize the Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Imperial Avenue
shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster
District in exchange for sufficient land to re-locate the said road,
