placed catcher Mike Scioscia on the 15-day disabled list
andrecailed catcher Jack Fimple from their Albuquerque
farm club of the Pacific Coast League, the National
League baseball team announced Monday.

Scioscia suffered strained medial collateral ligaments
of the left knee Saturday in a collision at home.plate with
Doug Frobel of Pittshurgh Pirates.

Fimple, who also is 25, is to be in uniform tonight when
the Dodgers play the Cardinals at St. Louis. He was hitting

.289 with Albuquerque and had fivehomeruns and 21 RBIs
in 23 games with the Dukes.

MONTREAL (CP) — Right-hander Bil) Gullickson was
reactivated to the 25-man roster of Montreal Expos on
Monday and the National League baseball team an-
nounced that Fred Breining, also a right-hander, was
being placed on the 21-day disabled list.

Gullickson, 0-2, with a 7.71 earned-run average in four
outings, was to start Tuesday after being on the 15-day
disabled list because of a groin pull.

The Expos said Breining continues to show progress
from the injured right shoulder he had when he arrived at
their spring training camp following a deal with San
Francisco Giants for Al Oliver. However, they say he’s not
100 per cent and needs more recuperative time.
