With reference to your recent request for the razoning of property cov-
ered by the above~noted rezoning application we would advise th the same was
placed before a regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The/Corporation of
the City of Port voquitlam held on April 17th, 1972, placed HYefore the
Council at that time was a report from the Planning &

hat passage of the resolution quoted above by the Mun-
erel fdicates the Council's readiness to submit your applica-
-¢ton to a Public Héaring as required under the provisions of the Municipal Act. If
the Council are still of the opinion that your request for rezoning should proceed
after tha Public learing has been held the Council will order that the necessary
procedures leading to eventual rezoning of your property be undertaken. ‘This in-
volves passage of a By-law to amend our present Zoning By-law and, of course, the
final deciaion concerning the passage or non-passage of this By-law remains with
the Municipal Council, any other factors notwithstanding. Until this By-law has
been reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Council your property will
remain in the RS-2 (One-Family Suburban Residential) zone and wea would particularly
caution you not to take any particular action at this time based upon the assump-
tion that the property will be rezoned.

You will note from the resolution quoted above that your participation in
the upgrading of the water system for the area is required and it was agreed that
the depree of participation required from the various property owners in the area
should be $600.00 per newly created 66'. lot, and you will therefore ba expected to
pay this amount to the City prier to final adoption of the necessary By-law.
