The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam

HUMBLY SHOWETH:

That the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam has by Bylaw No. 2388 cited as the "Patricia Avenue (Plan
19637) Road Closure Bylaw, 1988, No. 2388” stopped up and closed to
traffic a certain portion of road therein described:

That the said Bylaw No. 2388 of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the
Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on
the 15th day of August, 1988 and a duly certified copy is attached
hereto;

That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands
have consented to the closure of the said portion of Road described in
the said Bylaw No. 2388 and The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same;

That it is no longer necessary to use the portion of road described in
the said Bylaw No. 2388 as part of the road system of the City and it
is the desire of the Council of the City to obtain title to the laud
comprising the same in order that it may be offered for sale at an
upset. price of $4.15 pes square foot and it is expected that the owner
of the property immediately south of the portion of road to be closed
will be acquiring title to the land comprising the closed road.

That by resolution date the 15th day of August, 1988 the Municipal
Council of The Corporatioa of the Clty of Port Coquitlam authorized
the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs
praying for the abandonment of the portion of road described in the
said Bylaw No. 2388 so stopped up and closed to traffic;

THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said
portion of road deseribed in Bylaw No. 2388 of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting title of the land comprising
same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.

AND your Petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray, etc.

AND dated at Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, this 16th day of
August, 1988.
