During his student years, he was crazy about Rock and Roll and he founded a group with his childhood friends. From the start of the new millennium, he developed a solo career, concentrating on writing many songs that were influenced by various musical genres, from the English-language rock scene to French “chanson’. In 2011, Amaud tumed to a | Vancouver-based musician, Loig Morin, to produce his first album “Les gens qui s'aiment’. Loig is a well know musician and producer in Vancouver. We had the pleasure to enjoy is work during the Vancouver fall 2014 fashion week for which he produced the music. This choice meant that Amaud was working with a seasoned professional, with the added bonus of the friendship that grew out of their collaboration in the long hours working in the studio. It will be his second album “Crescendo”, also produced by Loig Morin, that Amaud will present to us on stage in CBC’S Studio 700, on Saturday November 22nd, at 8 p.m. This new album marks a turning point towards pop-rock music, with numerous songs that pulse to the rhythms of electric guitars, synthesizers, drum sets and choruses. But this new work also includes songs with a softer mood on acoustic guitar and piano. Tickets : www.lecentreculturel.com 604.736.9806
